Event parking will be located at Civic Center Library Public Parking Garage, linked below. A golf-cart shuttle service will be provided. Shuttle pick-up will be located at the southwest end of the parking garage on Drinkwater. Shuttle will run until 9:00am and again at the conclusion of the event.

FAQs

Q: What time does the Seminar begin?

A: The event begins at 9:00, but be sure to arrive early, around 7:15-7:30 for the Health and Wellness Vendor Fair.

Q: Will there be breaks and time for me to check my email throughout the day?

A: Yes, there are scheduled breaks and energizers throughout the day for participants to use the restroom, check email, etc. There will also be an entire hour break for lunch.

Q: Is there anything I should bring to the event?

A: A light sweater or jacket as the room temperature can fluctuate. Any other necessities will be provided.

Q: Will there be food allergy sensitive options?

A: Yes - gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options are available.

Q: If I need to leave the event early, am I free to do so?

A: Yes, you may arrive late or leave early if necessary. The post event happy hour is not a mandatory portion of the event either.

Q: Are there any costs associated with the event?

A: No - there are no costs for this event.

Q: Do I have to be present to win raffle prizes?

A: Unfortunately, yes. You must be present to win.

Q: Where is the best place to park?

A: Please use the Civic Center Parking Garage located on the northwest side of the stadium. See DIRECTIONS for more info.

Regan Debban, a Principal at Benefit Comply, LLC, has more than 10 years experience in employee benefits as both an attorney and an advisor. She provides guidance related to regulatory compliance matters to employers and insurance industry professionals. Ms. Debban's work has included helping employers navigate and find practical solutions to complicated Affordable Care Act requirements, in addition to assisting with other employee benefit compliance issues arising under ERISA, COBRA, Section 125, and HIPAA. Ms. Debban has been a featured speaker at events nationwide and has been a principal presenter in compliance webinars attended by thousands of employers and insurance professionals. She is also the author of a leading guide to ACA employer reporting requirements and has helped more than 100 employers successfully appeal IRS §4980H collection efforts. Prior to joining Benefit Comply, Ms. Debban worked as in-house counsel assisting in HR, benefit, and data security compliance, including for a major Fortune 500 company. She also worked as a legal researcher for Thomson Reuters, for a PEO providing benefits and HR services to small employers, and as an employee benefits consultant before entering law school. Ms. Debban received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and her MBA from The University of St. Thomas.

Director, Blue Zones Worksite Implementation


Erin joined the Blue Zones team in November 2022 where she works with a variety of employers to operationalize the research from the original Blue Zones communities by integrating evidence-based best practices through customized, comprehensive workforce well-being strategies with sustainable impact on overall well-being and organization engagement along with positive business and health outcomes. Prior to joining Blue Zones, Erin worked as a well-being and employee engagement consultant for DBP, an AssuredPartners Company, a leading national employee benefits firm, creating a comprehensive health and safety curriculum and providing strategic guidance for their book of business on health risk reduction and better health plan and benefit resource utilization. Before that Erin was the Director of Corporate Wellness Programs for Mindbody, Inc., designing and delivering their highly effective and diverse global wellness strategy across 16 locations in six states and 4 countries. For over 10 years she served Health Solutions and Interactive Health, Inc and clients such as Northrop Grumman, Waste Management, General Electric, Hewlett Packard, and Con-way as Director of Account Management and Director of Wellness Strategy. Her 20+ years of experience have been largely dedicated to workplace well-being–helping companies of every size and from every industry design, implement, and manage an impactful well-being strategy unique to their organizational culture. She received her Bachelor of Science in Preventative & Rehabilitative Exercise Science from Northern Illinois University and played four years for their Division I Softball team.


Erin believes well-being is a very personal pursuit of achieving one’s full potential and should be a holistic and an ever-evolving journey. Her passion and purpose collide in empowering people to live their healthiest and happiest lives.

Mr. Eric Knott has spent 20 years in various areas of operations management and senior human resources leadership including working as the vice president of human resources for K-12 education firm BASIS Educational Group (the Phoenix-based firm that runs the world’s top-performing K-12 schools), and was the senior HR executive for Arizona’s largest non-profit: Goodwill Industries of Central and Northern Arizona. He also held HR leadership positions with Cox Communications and Target Corporation.

Mr. Knott owns FinePoint HR, an HR consulting firm based in Phoenix, is an award-winning professor of business at Arizona State University’s top-ranked W. P. Carey School of Business, has been chairman of the board and is on the executive committee of the Arizona Small Business Association, has been president and is on the executive committee of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) of Greater Phoenix, and is a board member for the Arizona SHRM State Council.


Mr. Knott is the recipient of the Al O’Connor Lifetime Achievement Award (2019) from Arizona SHRM, the "Who's Who in Arizona Business" from Arizona Business Magazine (2022, 2019, 2018), and the John W. Teets Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (2022). He authored the top-selling career guide A Recruiter’s Guide to Job Hunting, is a PHR, a SHRM-CP, has his Certified Labor Relations Leader (CLRL) credential from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Kristen Rivers has been with ParetoHealth for nearly two years as Senior Vice President of Sales for the West Region. Prior, she worked for 12 years at United Health Group in a variety of roles in business development, strategy, operations, cost management, analytics and culminating as Vice President of Sales in Southern California. Kristen brings a wealth and depth of knowledge from over 15 years of experience in self-funding, health benefits, insurance, and the pharmaceutical industry. With her early career and education in research and law, Kristen approaches her work with a tireless pursuit of justice to help consultants and employers take control and find a sustainable and affordable benefits home.

Chief Business Officer, Payer Matrix

Michael Jordan is the Chief Business Officer for Payer Matrix, a National company headquartered in Media, Pennsylvania whose primary focus is on cost reduction in the area of specialty drug through alternative funding programs.


Michael has been a benefits and insurance professional since 1992. Prior to Payer Matrix, Michael focused on healthcare and benefits Nationally working for One Call, MagnaCare, CIGNA and Horizon BCBSNJ with extensive experience dealing in all sectors of the marketplace including Taft-Hartley, private sector as well as the public sector. He has held various sales and sales leadership positions and achieved Presidents Cup and Gold Circle levels.


Michael has been health and life insurance licensed for over 25 years. Michael earned an economics degree from the College of New Jersey. He led the Colts Neck Sports Foundation Basketball program for several years and serves on a number of local charitable boards.

He resides in Spring Lake Heights , New Jersey with his wife Tracy and their three children.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Scott is an accomplished underwriting leader with expertise in property and casualty insurance. As the AVP Underwriting for the Southwest Region at CopperPoint Insurance Companies, Scott leads the underwriting operations, strategies, and standards for the region, ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Scott mentors and coaches a team of leaders and underwriters, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Previously, Scott held various underwriting positions, where he managed complex and diverse accounts, developed and implemented underwriting guidelines and best practices, and established strong relationships with agents and clients. Scott is passionate about contributing to the community and the insurance profession, and has volunteered and served as a board member for several local non-profit organizations and as a speaker and panelist for industry events.

Over the last decade, his projects have been featured in outlets like Fast Company, WIRED, The Washington Post, Yahoo!, BuzzFeed, UpWorthy, Goalcast, and more. His videos have been viewed over 250 million times, and he has spoken to hundreds of thousands of audience members across the United States. More than anything, Kyle hopes that his story can inspire others to chase their own crazy ideas and become the people they were meant to be.

Lorrie is Platform President at AssuredPartners. She oversees sales strategy, operations and marketing for the northwest and northern California regions. In addition, Lorrie is a lead business advisor for AssuredPartners’ largest clients nationally. She specializes in unique executive benefit programs that help incentivize employees and drive overall company growth. Lorrie also works with business owners on sophisticated life insurance strategies for estate planning, key person protection and business transition. A staunch advocate for clients, she is known for being one of the most effective advisors. She is currently a board member with M Financial Group and Finseca, the global leader in advocacy in insurance & financial services.


In 2015, Lorrie received the coveted Women of Influence Award given by the Puget Sound Business Journal and in 2016, the Journal named her to their 40 under 40 list of business leaders who are moving the needle. On the community front, Lorrie concentrates her energies and resources on programs that support disadvantaged women and children. She has served on multiple boards and is a known philanthropist who has raised millions of dollars for underprivilege communities. Lorrie is also an advocate for education and serves as an advisory board member for the College Access Now as well as Seattle University’s Executive Leadership Program. Prior to joining AssuredPartners, Lorrie held consulting positions at Merrill Lynch & First Investors.
